A history of victory lanes
In 2007, Hall-of-Famer George Pappas broke ground on Victory Lanes, bringing a state of the art bowling family entertainment center to the Mooresville, NC area. He envisioned a center that was physically impressive, family-friendly and yet still bowler-friendly. Business was going well but for 5 years, struggles to keep customers interested were getting tougher by the day.
In 2012 George brought Paul Kreins in to try and turn around the struggling business. For the next 6 years Paul and his staff worked diligently to bring the life and dream back to Victory Lanes with an emphasis on customer service, creating a memorable experience and food that rivals the top restaurants in the area. While creating the most memorable entertainment, recreational, social, dining and competitive experience every time people would visit- bowling, and its rich history, was always the heart of who they strived to be.
Then in 2018, Paul purchased Victory Lanes from George making it The New Victory Lanes. After that the true potential was able to be met, starting with a new arcade, new lighting, new monitors, full redemption and the opportunity to host the greatest tournament in all of bowling, The U.S. Open in 2019.
